Year 8 explore Winchester Science Centre

Year 8 recently visited Winchester Science Centre to develop their knowledge of space.

Pupils explored interactive displays on all themes science before heading downstairs to the space area where they got to dress as an astronaut, appear to grow and shrink in the little big house and find out about gravity on different planets.

Pupils also took part in a workshop where they designed rockets and had a competition to see whose rocket would fly the furthest into space before heading into the planetarium for an immersive journey through space.
