World Book Day is NEXT WEEK!

Thursday March 6th marks World Book Day! This momentous day is celebrated every year to encourage a love of reading, reminding us all of the power of stories to transport, inspire, and teach us. From classic literature to modern tales, there’s a book out there for everyone—so let’s use this day as an opportunity to embrace the joy of reading.

We have lots of fun activities planned, both on the day and in the lead-up to the big event. From quizzes and storytelling sessions to creative writing challenges and book-themed competitions, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

This year, we are thrilled to hold a book swap once again alongside our book sale. A new addition to this year’s events will be a costume swap which will give families the chance to recycle pre-loved costumes and acquire new ones without having the expense of buying them.

We want everyone—staff, pupils and students alike—to join in with the celebrations. Don’t forget to dress up on the day. Who will you go as this year? We can’t wait to see!
