We achieve GOLD in the Green Tree Schools Awards
We’re absolutely thrilled to share that we have achieved the Green Tree Schools Gold Award!
The Woodland Trust’s Green Tree Schools Award is a UK-wide environmental programme encouraging schools to take learning outdoors, connect with nature, and improve sustainability.

- Purpose: The initiative aims to inspire pupils and students to learn about trees, woods, and wildlife while taking action to protect the environment.
- Activities: Projects include planting trees, reducing CO2 emissions, forest school activities, and tree dressing.
- Levels: Points are earned to reach specific milestones: Bronze (5 points), Silver (10 points), Gold (15 points), and Platinum (30 points).
- Impact: Over two million children have been inspired by the scheme to engage with nature and boost their mental and physical well-being.
This is a fantastic milestone for us, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and dedication that made it possible – a special shout out to Mrs Head for all her efforts in helping us to achieve this award.
