We have a qualified Play Therapist on site four days a week. Our therapist is registered with PTUK and PTUK Play Therapists are registered with The Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority and managed by Play Therapy UK (PTUK). Play Therapy is an opportunity to ‘play out ‘ feelings and problems with a therapeutic objective. It aims to improve communication and understanding between the child and others as well as help the child develop self-observation skills, improve impulse control and develop more adaptive ways of coping with anxiety and frustration.
