Our therapeutic aim is to extend the skills of each individual according to his/her ability.
Pupils and students have an active part to play in the school and their opinions and views are taken into account through formal and informal means.
At St Dominic’s School we believe that a close working relationship with families is one of the keys to making progress
We are a team of staff that support the health and medical needs of our pupils and students. We have a qualified School Nurse and a Health Care Assistant who are able to offer first aid, administer medications and train staff. We also work with outside agencies and liaise closely with families to ensure the joined up care for our young people. We have a number of staff who are first aid trained, as well as our own in-house First Aid Trainer.
