Our therapeutic aim is to extend the skills of each individual according to his/her ability.
Pupils and students have an active part to play in the school and their opinions and views are taken into account through formal and informal means.
At St Dominic’s School we believe that a close working relationship with families is one of the keys to making progress
We are a team of qualified Counsellors that have counselling spaces on site. We work with pupils and students across the whole school and usually start with a block of 10 sessions. Staff and families are able to ask for counselling for our young people, but they are also able ask for this support themselves. Counselling sessions are all confidential for the pupil or student, unless there is a risk of harm to self or others.
