The Rotary Children’s Fun Day Event – KS2 and KFI have an absolute blast!

The Rotary Children’s Fun Day is a free National annual event aimed at providing children with additional needs with a day of joy and adventure. Rotary Clubs representing the towns and villages covering Aldershot, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Guildford, Hook, Odiham and Woking entertain over 850 disadvantaged children and approximately 680 teachers, carers and parents.

This year’s event at the Army Rugby Football Stadium in Aldershot was a HUGE success! Attractions included a fairground, birds of prey, face painting and transfers, animal petting zoo, inflatable slides, circus activities, disco, a balloon race plus burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and snacks followed by the visit of three ice cream vans and a fire engine!

A great time was had by all!

We are extremely proud of how amazing our pupils were throughout the incredibly exciting, hot and long day. Pupils were safe and respectful of everyone’s needs around them – thank you for representing our school so well. A BIG thank you also to our fabulous staff who joined in and helped to keep everyone calm, safe, cool and most importantly, have lots of fun!

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
