St Dominic’s marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Today, being the last day before we break for the half term holidays, we celebrated the Queen’s forthcoming Platinum Jubilee. During tutor time and assemblies, pupils learned about the Queen’s reign and about how much the country has changed over the last 70 years. At lunch time we had a ‘street party’. Our amazing catering team made a selection of British classics, including coronation chicken and quiche, which we were all able to enjoy in the sunshine in our lovely grounds. It was lovely to be able to celebrate such an important occasion as a school community.
