Sixth Form students prepare for Macmillan bake sale

This half term in Independence and Employability and Hospitality lessons, students have been busy planning and organising a bake sale in aid of their chosen charity Macmillan.

They researched a recipe they would like to make for the bake sale, costed the ingredients, wrote their shopping lists and went to Tesco to buy items on their list. On their return, they paired up to make each of their recipes.

All recipes proved very popular at the taste test so have made the shortlist and will be featuring at the Macmillan bake sale on 20th October!
