9HOL class have started a new topic – Natural Hazards.
They have started studying hurricanes and the impact that they have on not only the environment, but also on the housing that people live in.
To help consolidate understanding, pupils had a budget of £500,000 and a list of options they could choose in order to build their ‘storm-safe house’. All pupils have enjoyed starting the project and have some extremely creative ideas on how to build it.
