National Apprenticeship Week

As part of National Apprenticeship week our Sixth Form students visited the National Apprenticeship Show at Sandown Park Racecourse. A large number of employers and training organisations, such as Network Rail, Superdrug, Canon and Ford, were available to talk about apprenticeships and opportunities open to young people.

Students engaged with representatives from a variety of places including the Army, Royal Navy, Virgin Atlantic, Brooklands College and a number of more local provisions. We were very proud of the way they presented themselves and shared ideas about possible future jobs with each other, discussing likes and dislikes of tasks associated with different roles. Live music was provided by the Army rock band.
