Careers Guidance

We are a team of staff working to support our pupils and students to access work experience, understand their skills and qualities and begin to make decisions about their next steps in education and/or the world of work. We have a qualified Careers Guidance Practitioner and a Careers Assistant and work with groups of pupils and offer individual sessions of guidance as well.

We also support our pupils and students to have meaningful careers encounters and adhere to the Gatsby Benchmarks (a government initiative that outlines best practice in Careers Guidance). Our pupils and students leave us to go on to a range of destinations, including further education, higher education and supported employment.

Careers Leader

The Careers Leader for our school is Catherine Hall and she can be contacted by email: chall@stdominicsschool.org.uk or tel: 01428 685108
