Job Description
Key duties include:
– To be responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of the Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) review process and for ensuring that annual reviews and all related activities are completed to the highest quality and within statutory requirements.
– To provide administrative support to the SENCo.
– To support teaching and learning by providing high quality administrative support as part of a committed and flexible administration team.
The SEN Administrator will be expected to work under the direction of the SENCo and the Senior Leadership Team.

Person Specification
The role requires someone who pays meticulous attention to detail, has energy, enthusiasm, a calm manner, the ability to prioritise, a flexible working approach and being able to cope with conflicting demands and interruptions in order to meet internally and externally imposed deadlines.
Applicants will need to be approachable, have sound people skills, strong written and verbal communication together with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Experience of using Microsoft Office programmes is essential. Ideally, you are proficient in the relevant aspects of the use and management of SIMS or a similar system and you must be willing to undertake SIMS training as required and authorised.
