Anti-Bullying Assemblies with Surrey Police
We were pleased to welcome PC Dave Barnes and PCSOs Daniel Burrell and Karen
Phillips, who delivered three separate assemblies to Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and then Key Stage 4 with Sixth Form.
As well as promoting the role of the Police in keeping our communities safe, they also gave a serious message about types of bullying, why it is not acceptable and the line between bullying and a criminal offence.
Pupils in Key Stage 2 tried on different types of police headwear and one pupil even tried on a very heavy stab-proof vest.
PCSO Burrell also explained the new Pegasus Card Scheme, for people who find it hard to
communicate. Click here for more information on this scheme.
We are very grateful to the police for taking time to come and visit our school and meet our pupils.
