St Dominic’s School, Judged as “Good” by Ofsted, is a weekly boarding and day school catering for up to 110 pupils and students between the ages of 7 and 19 who have a range of academic abilities and with complex special needs including ASD and Speech and language communication difficulties.
St Dominic's is a wonderful school which offers a truly multi-disciplinary approach which welcomes and celebrates difference and individuality. Teachers work collaboratively with therapists and residential care staff to enhance the learning process and provide an exciting waking day curriculum. Staff work together to provide a blended approach to therapeutic and educational input, contextually, both within individual lessons and across the school as a whole.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake duties to support the work of the teaching staff in our Science Department
Duties would include:
- Support for pupils.
- Preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons.
- Assessment, monitoring and evaluation.
- Administration and management of resources.
- Maintaining the science laboratory equipment and services in good order.
