Vision

For all pupils and students to  “fulfil their potential, achieve ambitious goals and live life to the full”  through the delivery of a high quality, innovative Waking Day Curriculum that meets the needs of individual learners as well as the requirements of a 'modified' National Curriculum and examination courses at KS4 and KS5.

Pupil and student entitlement

For all pupils and students to:

  • Take part in a range of learning activities that will allow them to develop a range of skills so that they can be valued members of the school, local and wider community.
  • Follow appropriate learning pathways so that they can achieve the necessary academic qualifications, life and work skills needed to be successful global citizens.

Aims

For all pupils and students to be actively involved in their learning by ensuring that learning experiences take into account the different approaches and contexts pupils and students require for optimal learning to take place.

To provide pupils and students with a range of relevant, coherent, engaging, challenging and personalised learning experiences across the Waking Day Curriculum so that they can achieve the following competencies:
