Year 11 Pupils Visit the Shah Jahan Mosque
4th November 2014
On Monday, November 3rd, our Year 11 pupils went on a RE field trip to the Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking, which is the oldest mosque not just in the UK but also in Northern Europe.
When we arrived, the pupils were greeted by the Imam, who spoke to them about the mosque, Islam and Muslims. The Imam was very impressed by the number and quality of questions asked by the pupils. He also commented positively about the way all of the pupils had behaved.
Well done to all the Year 11 pupils who were as always outstanding ambassadors of the school.
